Goodies For Sale at Garden of Beaden!

I'm so lucky to be  selling my Goodies at Garden of Beaden this Fall, just in time for Dia de los Muertos!  My eyeglass cases and card cases will be on display and for sale at GOB while supplies last!  I so love this awesome bead shop located in  Upland, CA.  Irene has a great selection of awesome beads and supplies for "your need to bead"  along with a wonderfully welcoming place to visit and learn and just "hang"!

I abandoned this doodle at the Macaroni Grill in Montclair, Ca today whilst my mom & I were enjoying our lunch! thanks Johnathan for the great service, my lunch was yummy! :-)

I'm happily working out in my studio every day Gang, getting goodies ready for this Fall's GlitterFest Show! I'm so excited! I'm making so many cool NEW things for the show all centered around Halloween and Day of the Dead! This includes: jewelry, purses, wallets, eyeglass cases, credit card cases and so much MORE! Art Abandonment!

I am so loving this new group I joined called: "Art Abandonment" The idea is to leave random pieces of your art, no matter what you choose, in public places unseen by anyone. The annonyomous nature makes this that much more meaningful! We attach a note to our art stating what our group's goal is and a contact address via Facebook: Artabandonment@groups.facebook.com I have abandoned two pieces thus far~This bright and fun-loving piece was my second abandonment which I secretly left at our public library! I felt so giddy walking out afterwards, like I pulled-off the greatest caper ever! I hope it brightened someone's day to find it!

This was my first abandonment caper~left at my Mom's doctor's office outer lobby in Pasadena, Ca. Everyone needs a little gift when they go to the doctor's, right? Maybe it made someone happy!

This was the actual item that I made for my first "Abandonment"! I love repurposing common objects, or at least dolling them up!

Peacock Feathers Under Glass!

Close-Up of the Peacock Pendant. I design and do all of my own solder-work; these pieces are made "from scratch", not bought and repurposed. I also use actual beveled glass, the same glass used in making beautiful custom made doors and windows.
This particular piece involved wire-wrapping coordinating glass beads to showcase the pendant. Then it was finished with rolo chain. What's nice about the pendant is that the front and back are glass so the feather can be seen from both sides! Price: $72.00

This lovely piece was designed and constructed from scratch by myself, of course. I decided to go with a totally different look on this one by using fired ceramic beads that also complimented the feather pendant. This one is finished with copper chain~I love mixing my metals for a more unique look! Price: $72.00

I just love all of the deatiled texture and color seen in this small part of the feather!

With this design, I was able to preserve the beauty and shape of the feather; the wearer never has to worry about it fraying, breaking or getting caught on anything!

Jeans with Femme Flare!

Been playing around with my jeans and this is what I came up with! This pair is "not for sale" being they're my prototype and loaded with mistakes~I am however, working on a pair that will be "For Sale" soon-I'll post them as soon as they're ready! Recently, I was in Arizona with friends and received a lot of attention while wearing these lovelies! They look great with any shoe~I wear them with my cluncky platforms, cowboy boots or even tennies; anything goes!
